Multiple Accounts FAQ

How many accounts can I open?

  • There’s no limit to the number of IRAs you can open with us! You have the flexibility to open as many as you need.

Will I be billed for each account?

  • No need to worry about separate billing for each account. You’ll be billed based on the total amount you have invested across all your Alto IRAs. This doesn’t include any investments in Crypto accounts or cash balances. Please note that CryptoIRAs are still billed per trade.

Can I make investments with multiple IRAs in the same offering?

  • If you have multiple Alto IRAs, you’ll need to choose just one to invest in a specific offering with our Integrated Partners. For example, you can’t use both your Roth and Traditional Alto IRAs to invest in the same opportunity. Any additional investments in that offering will need to come from the same IRA you used initially.

Will the mobile app support multiple CryptoIRAs?

  • At the moment, our mobile app only shows your oldest CryptoIRA, so switching between multiple CryptoIRAs isn’t supported just yet. We’re constantly working to enhance our platform, and if this feature becomes available in the future, we’ll be sure to let you know!

I already have multiple IRAs under separate emails. Can I combine the two?

  • Not quite yet, but it’s on our radar! We’re working on a feature that will allow you to consolidate your IRAs under a single email address. Stay tuned!
