If you’re new to crypto investing, your AltoIRA dashboard provides essential information to help you track your holdings. This article explains the key data points, where to find them, and what they mean for your account.
Crypto Portfolio Overview
On your dashboard, you’ll see a Crypto Portfolio donut chart. This visual shows the breakdown of your crypto holdings by currency. If your entire balance is in one coin, the chart will display a solid circle in a single color.
Understanding the Data Columns
Your Crypto Portfolio includes the following key columns:
Currency | The cryptocurrency you hold (e.g., BTC, ETH) |
Units | The amount of each cryptocurrency you own |
Average Cost | The average price paid per unit, based on your trades |
Recent Price | The latest market price available for that coin |
Current Value | The total market value of your holdings (Units x Recent Price) |
Gain/Loss
At the top of your crypto portfolio dashboard, you will see a Total Gain/Loss figure, which provides a high-level summary of your overall investment performance. This figure dynamically updates as market prices fluctuate, ensuring you always have an accurate reflection of your crypto IRA portfolio.
Beneath Your Portfolio, the gain/loss table provides a comprehensive breakdown of your holdings, displaying:
- Units held of each cryptocurrency.
- Recent price of each asset.
- Average cost per unit.
- Current value of each position.
- Total cost of the investment.
- Gain or loss on each position.
